Ryan White / A New Musical

I directed, choreographed and wrote book/music/lyrics (with Ryan Haase) for this new musical about Ryan White, the teenage hemophiliac who became the poster child for AIDS in the 1980's. The show has an all-teenage cast and is being developed by New York Theatre Barn and Broadway For All. 

A Defense of Prayer In School / Music Video

I choreographed this music video which stars Noah Galvin (The Real O'Neals) and Barbara Walsh (Falsettos, Company), and is from a new musical called Political Speeches the I conceived/directed for The Culture Project. It is written by Jonathan Larson Award winners Tim Rosser and Charlie Sohne.

Carrie / MSU

I directed and choreographed a technology driven production of Carrie with an emphasis on bullying at Michigan State University. I was the recipient of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation's Guest Artist Initiative program. Here is a feature on our production during the rehearsal process.

Art in Me / Choreography

This is a piece that I choreographed and presented at New York Theatre Barn's Choreography Lab. "Art in Me", is written by Jars of Clay, sung by Vince Peterson, and performed by Michael John Hughes and Kenneth Michael Murray. Katie Pettit was my associate on this project which was originally created for Empire City Men's Chorus.

Shoes and Baggage / A New Musical

I had a blast directing this new musical Off-Broadway at The Cell. Cheryl Stern's Shoes & Baggage is a one-woman musical about shopping, family, friendship, and addiction. It features an original score with lyrics by Jonathan Larson Award-winning writer Cheryl Stern and music by Drama Desk nominated and Emmy Award-winning composer Tom Kochan.

Cagney / Off-Broadway

I was the Associate Director of the musical Cagney which just ran for over a year Off-Broadway at the Westside Theatre. The production was skillfully directed by Bill Castellino, with choreography by Josh Bergasse.

Gigi / Broadway

I had an amazing time working as the Associate Director of the Broadway revival of Gigi. The show was directed by Eric Schaeffer (Artistic Director of DC's Signature Theatre) with choreography by Josh Bergasse (On the Town, Sweet Charity). The show starred Vanessa Hudgens, Victoria Clark, Corey Cott, and Howard McGillin.

Beaches / Chicago's Drury Lane

I served as Associate Director to director Eric Schaeffer on the musical adaptation of Iris Rainer Dart's novel Beaches at Chicago's Drury Lane Theatre. The production starred Shoshana Bean and Whitney Bashor and was choreographed by Lorin Latarro. The book/lyrics are written by Iris Rainer Dart, and the music is written by David Austin.
